PLOT
THE PRESTIGE is a twisting, turning story set against the backdrop of turn-of-the-century London
Two young, passionate magicians, Robert Angier (Jackman), a charismatic showman, and Alfred Borden (Bale), a gifted illusionist, are friends and partners until one fateful night when their biggest trick goes terribly wrong.
It all goes wrong when Angier blames the death of his wife during an escape trick on borden, who might have tied the wrong knot
Now the bitterest of enemies, they will stop at nothing to learn each other’s secrets. As their rivalry escalates into a total obsession full of deceit and sabotage, they risk everything to become the greatest magician of all time.
REVIEW
In all honesty..I was impressed with the way this movie was made
Christopher Nolan could do no wrong.with a lovely cast (more or less same as Batman Begins)
brilliant script,with plenty lovely plot twists,and really good performneces from all the actors(Hugh Jackman in particular )...really makes this movie worth the admission rates.
The cinematography,post production were really outstanding.
A story told in such a brillaint way must be credited by simply walkin to the nearest theatre and watching the movie .
Frankly I say this is a movie too "c"
